Frequently Asked Questions

We are currently partnering with schools across multiple locations in USA, India and Jamaica.

The children are selected if they fall into any of these categories:

  • Unable to receive an education due to poverty
  • Forced to drop out of school and for any reason could not continue their education
  • Orphans, handicapped, or economically challenged children are selected on a priority basis

In addition to our on-site volunteers in India and Jamaica, many of our volunteers operate across United States.

As a volunteer, you are expected to hold fundraising events (i.e. charity runs) and charity drives. If you’d like to volunteer, click here.

When you donate, the money is used to provide for expected costs such as those of textbooks, pencils, chalk, crayons, maintenance of the school, monthly celebration days and festivals, nutritious foods, skill development, outdoor equipment, health check-ups, and the on-site teacher’s salary. But, it is also used in other areas outside of school that may be affecting a child’s ability to receive an education such as costs of food consumed outside of school hours, clothing, shelter and water. We look for ambitious, dedicated students whose financial situation stands in the way of getting an education, or getting the materials required to continue with school. If you believe you are one of these students, or are unsure, feel free to fill out the scholarship application form here.
